Curbside

Curbside is a show I created for the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company (WAYTCo) and the City of Claremont as part of their Art in Claremont festival on April 9th and 10th in the Claremont town square.

The brief was to create two twelve foot puppets to be created out of recycled materials, engage young actors in visual theatre and puppetry, as well as introducing them to the challenges of physical and environmentally challenging theatre work. 

It was an amazing experience and challenge with the biggest puppets I've ever made, and an amazingly talented young cast of ages 13-25 all approaching puppetry for the first time.
