Clare Testoni - Writer, Director, Performer
Clare Testoni is a writer, actor, and puppeteer with a strong interest in oral storytelling and the mythic in everyday life. She is a keen collector of folk tales, ghost stories, and urban legends. Clare has created shadow puppets for Sam Longley in his show 'Gareth of The Antarctic' as well as for The Leichardt Espresso Chorus in Sydney, The State Library of NSW, NSW Writers Centre, and for her own show 'Rusalka' as part of 600 Seconds in 2016. In 2016 she directed two shows for WAYTCo, 'Curbside' a puppetry show of her own design for the Claremont Art Festival, and 'Burnt' in collaboration with Iona girls school. Clare is also a writer and presenter of Singing Bones, a podcast that explores the histories of folktales with currently over 30,000 listeners world wide. As an performer she has worked with Barking Gecko Theatre Company, ATYP, and Spare Parts Puppet Theatre where she also teaches puppet making and performance to children.
Sean Gustavino - Performer
Sean is a founding member of Those Who Love You, an independent theatre company based in Perth. Sean has recently completed internships with Perth Theatre Company and The Blue Room Theatre, and co-produced his companies debut work “The Secret Garden Project.” He is currently part of the regional touring production of “Hachiko,” with Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, and an emerging artist part of Hive ensemble.
Claire Thomas - Performer
Claire Thomas is an actress and dancer who has performed with WAYTCo in their shows 'Punk Rock', 'On The Face of Things', and 'Curbside'. She has performed in musical theatre and cabaret including 'Three Penny Opera' with Queens Hall Music, 'Snoopy', and 'Phantom of The Opera' with Limelight Theatre. She has also performed with The Cutting Room Floor, and in several short films. She is an accredited dance teacher with West Australian School of Dance, and had choreographed and assistant directed on several projects.
Rachael Woodward - Performer
Rachael a performer and director, Rachael is a passionate theatre maker who enjoys headstands. A graduate of WAAPA BPA she performed at last years Summer Nights festival with her show 'Valentine' which she is now currently developing with the 'First Hand' program at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre.
She also directed the show 'Whats Love Got to Do With It' as part of the 2016 Blue Room season.
Elise Reitze - Composer
Elise Reitze is a Perth Percussionist, Sound Designer, Composer and Performance Artist. Elise has just completed her Bachelor of Music at UWA studying Composition and Percussion – during her study she performed at events such as the CHOGM opening ceremony, The 2013 Proximity Festival, STRUT dance’s season of ‘short cuts’, The UWA centenary and more. In 2015 Elise completed a studio residency at The Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts. That year she also composed the music for Kathleen Szalay’s contemporary dance work ‘Tiny Dancer’ which premiered in The Perth Cultural Centre in October, and has since been performed at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre and The White Night Festival In Melbourne. This year, Elise was selected as an artist for the 2016 Perth International Arts Festival emerging artists program.
Rhiannon Petersen - Lighting Designer
NATALIE DI RISIO - Producer
is a theatre maker, performer and producer. She made her writing and directorial debut at Fringe World with Breathe In (2011) and then co-created and performed in Hello Boys (2013) and Flushed (2014). In 2016 Fringe Festival she produced both Circles of Return and Underground. She is currently producing TANK as part of the August-December season at the Blue Room Theatre.
